"Tried this in the hope that it might help convert my USB to a higher speed, but now realize that this is actually a hardware issue. But downloading and installing were simple matters, and maybe this will at least improve my laptop's port speed! Thanks..."

"This driver doesn't work in Windows 2000.

The usb-port is recognized by the administrator but not by a another user with administrator rights."

"Had to use Norton Go-Back,reinstal files from 98SE disk that were taken out, did not trust refresh function, replaced with fresh files. Don't think they are bad, just wrong version for this old system. Haveing a Go Back program is the only way to try new or replacement files."
