"The download took seconds and the file was simply saved to the Desktop then copied to the Windows\system32 folder, using the Windows Explorer.

"I am SO happy this was available! I could get my audio to show up on my screen. Just place it in the C:/WINDOWS/system32 folder then go to control panel, click "Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices" then click "Adjust System Volume" and then click "Place Volume Icon on Taskbar" and it works!"

"I downloaded this file and all I got was the icon and nothing else.

sndvol32.exe is an icon not a sound file."

"This is what you need if you lost your volume control and icon in the task bar. The make of your system doesn't matter, this is a generic windows file, but guess what - you can't find it on Microsoft search, but you CAN, and DID find it here. Go ahead, jst download into your Win\System32 file, then go to Control panel sound settings, select Sound and Audio devices, then
