"I am finally using this cable and my own uploaded driver (yes, lost the disk again). Install was straight forward (plug in cable, look for the right files IIRC). After that I am using the TurboTransfer.exe application (included w/ the drivers) to transfer files to my old laptop. TurboTransfer seems to only transfer one file at a time so if you want to move folders they

must be zipped first. I don't think it will be something I use all the time but it may be handy once in a while.
