"I'm an A+ Certified Tech and this driver does work for Lucent Modem Model CW56LU-PCI ID 5QVSNG-25391-M5-E. Just open this program and click on SETUP.EXE and it will automatically load the drivers and set-up the modem. This modem seems to want to install on com 3. If after installation, the modem doesn't work, try uninstalling com 3 in Device Manager,uninstall the modem

"Didn't work...hangs on install for me. I get past the "INSTALLING MODEM DRIVERS" screen, but then this pesky little "SETUP.EXE" runs in the background for HOURS if i let it!

just like the rest ive tried so far"

I gave it up.

"At first I was worried that this would be a junk driver since it was submitted by a third party but it worked beautifully for a modem I had real trouble finding and it worked with my operating system"

"I'm a Certified OS Technician and when I say that this driver works than works on Windows 98 SE. You must have an archive utility to open the file. Just execute the file and click OK to install and let the computer do the rest. Works great and I highly recommend for Windows 98 SE users. Thanks George, Danny"
