"The driver did work with some limitations. The preview showed no image in the panel, therefore the size must be set to maximum before scanning. You must EXIT the panel, say you do not want to send the image to the WEB, then you can see the image after you change to another folder and come back to that folder."

"Installs, but does not work under Windows XP service pack 2 (crashes).

This is a pretty old scanner, so I am not sure if I will find a working driver for XP - please advise if anyone else has any success!"

"This doesn't work with XP, and perhaps should simply be taken off and put under '98. Will try fix from "Shadow Master" and post result. If you found a driver that works, please post."

"ok here is a fix for now ill post a better one later once i figure this out 1 - install this driver 2 - add new hardware select scanner then tell it you will choose and select umax610p 3 - find the optrox.dll file in the windows folders copy it somewhere rename it to twain.dll copy the new file to the windows folder then just use acquire twain to get image forget about the
