"This driver works very well with the US Robotics Inc. Sportster 56000 fax internal, in the Micron PC, Win98. Chipset is D17806PJ, KCS-74A76EW. FCC ID CJEUSA-30429-MM-E. I am using the modem right now to comment on the driver that I had just downloaded and installed. Blessed."

"This download does *not* upgrade this modem to V.90! It keeps it at x2, believe me I tried. The correct filename for the v90 upgrade is akitav90.exe, which is also posted at driverguide...I sucessfully upgraded three modems with this correct file. Please refer to my comments for more info attached to the akitav90.exe page (just do a search on the filename to find it). Not
