"I tried four drivers for this device, three were labeled with "Storm" in the exe file name. I tried a fourth ( This one ) and it is working great. Please diregard my first review.

"Extract the contents of the zip file to a folder, when you plug the scanner in, tell the Operating System that you "Have Disk" and browse for the folder of files that you just extracted. Point to the "Logiscan.inf" file and install. This driver has no problems and works with Corel Paint Shop Pro X and other Apps with no problem."

"This download works for xp. Unzipped to a folder, connected the scanner and pointed to unzip directory when hardware wizard so requested. xp will now recognize scanner as a twain device. Still not as good as a more complete software package that comes with a new scanner.

"If you are looking for an XP driver for your Pagescan Parallel scanner, it does not exist. No you can not cable from parallel to USB and use this driver.If you expecting an e-mail from Louie or anyone else. Forget it! I have beem waiting for months. "Seems to work fine on XP Pro, and the office XP image handling software is fine too. Also interfaces OK with WinFax. When I originally bought the scanner and installed to Win95, it put me out of action for 1½ days - the setup program overwrote (on Autorun) the already-installed W95 .inf file and caused a memory address conflict, until I replaced the original .inf file from

"I too have the parallel port version of this scanner. Logitech never made a driver for this scanner usable on anything past win98 SE. If anyone comes up with the driver from a 3rd party i would be very happy if they could post it to me.."

"Drivers work great! XP pro. I wanted to be reinstalled after I restarted, but even if it asked EVERY TIME it's still better than dual boot to '98 to use Parallel Page Scan Color. If anyone could do drivers for that scanner it would bring thousands of owners to tears ) The Storm isn't as versitile as the PageScan Color, but for me it's good bye dual boot. THANK YOU!"

"Jeff, I had same problem - see below, but sucessfully installed by plugging the scanner in and then going to control panel/printers and other hardware/add hardware rather than the option on the right hand pane. This then takes you through wizard which searches for the driver and works! Good luck."

"Can't get it to work with XP home. I go to install, click on "have disk", point to the directory I unzipped the drivers in. Click on the inf file..then nothing!! The window comes up and says choose the device, but the list is blank! Can anyone help? Please... pretty please..."

"Pleae can you advise how to install. I have downloaded and unzipped, then tried to add hardware. Pointed 'have disk' to folder but no joy. There doesn't appear to be any .exe files there. Help please."

"Will this driver work for the Paralle port too? I have WINXP Home edition and don't want to buy a new scanner. Is there a driver available for the parallel port or can I get a USB adapter? Please email me any answers. Logitech site doesn't list the scanner anymore. Thanks for anyone's help. Pat"

"Louie, Bless you and keep you. I can now happily remove the Win 98 system I kept on my computer solely to operate the pagescan. I also have an older pagescan color that I like for its superior twain program. I hope someone creates a xp driver for this as well. thanks"

"I have a number of these scanners and have not upgraded to WinXP because of the lack of drivers for this scanner. I have installed it on one of our machines that have been upgraded and it works great. Perhaps now I will install XP on our other machines. Thanx...Scott"

"Used it on XP Professional Edition and seems to be fine after a very early glitch with my scanning software Paperport 8.0 which did a screen lock-up when it asked to callibrate the scanner. I used Task Manager to close down the Paperport and then restarted. Since then, no problem and everything seems to work great."
