"Nope! I have installed Windows XP on my computer with an Avance ALS4000 sound card. When the ALS4000 drivers are being installed into my computer, it crashes immediately after reaching the end of the installation. I always must have to press the reset button on the CPU to restart the system. After rest"

"Driver worked fine with Windows-XP Pro. Thanks, most appreciated. For those who need help to install, unzip to a floppy disk then direct Windows to find drivers in floppy drive. Ignore all Windows dialogs, by clicking "Continue". It should install easy afterwards."

"this worked for me the first time I used it. Be sure to go into your hardware profile, look for Properties, and Update Driver. Then just choose where you put this file. I updated my puter and lost a lot of drivers so I am back to get it again."

"i've als4000 soundcard and xpprof..... the driver function correctly, but the sound don't seems a good-sound, it's crack-sound-like driver. now i'm downloading the ALS4000 ver.a1_10.exe, the file is 4.8MB lenght, but i think its work."

"Windows XP will always come up with a logo test if microsoft havnt tesed the driver with xp, just hit continue and it will work, if you want to feel safe then create a restore point first. this applies to all hardware installations on XP"
