"The installation runs find, but nothing else happens... i reboot the system but the drive stills un-recognized.... i reinstall windows xp and then my system detects the drive automatically, i think something was wrong with my system. but i'm not using the downloaded driver."

"the download was not so much a driver as it was the program for creating or writing disc, the driver in that file was not available or was not recognized."
