"Bought a Plextor PX-755SA which is "Serial ATA" by mistake. To get it working need to buy a controller card. Bought a ALI M5283 SATA but there driver CD didn't work. The driver I downloaded here work great!"

"Good driver and very stable...no problems mixing and matching types of hard drives attached to the card. Currently have 250 Gig Seagate and 80 Gig WD and have had no issues"

"Worked when installing my SATA RAID card to install Windows Vista. Had to chose the MS281 driver form the list that came up though.."

"Although it installed quickly and easily, ALI 5283 SATA raid Driver does not work with Win 2k at all - locks up in "blue screen" of death!"
