Additional Notes

ScanGear CS 7.0 for Windows is

A 32-bit TWAIN-compliant scanner driver for Canon CanoScan LiDE 20/N670U/N676U and CanoScan LiDE 30/N1240U scanners.

When this driver is selected from within a TWAIN-compliant application

program, one of these scanners can be used to scan image data

(It helps correct the original(buggy)driver that came with the scanners. They also don't tell you that their scanners have major problems sharing an USB port. They must be installed alone on a hub.)

With Windows 2000 or XP, the TWAIN data source may not open correctly from time to time when the system file is in the NTFS format.

With Windows Me, the scanner may not be detected after the USB cable has been disconnected and reconnected. If this occurs, reboot the computer.

"With this driver I could use again my CanoScan LiDE Canon Scanner without problems.

I had lost the installation disk that came with the scanner and tried this one from DriverGuide.

The result was very good."
