"The download worked just fine. Had to download a ccouple of times since my XP wouldn't start up. I had no problem with the One touch download. Thanks very much for the opportunity to use your download. I appreciate the chance to have such a place to acquire my special needs. Thanx."

"Like the other post, I tried all the drivers for the 8100 I could find here and on the Visioneer site. This one worked flawlessly. WinXP Pro SP2. I think the key was to NOT install the Paperport software, and just use the XP Scanner/Camera picture capture wizard.

"It is perfect, as long as you follow the maufacturers 3-page directions on how to uninstall and re-install the device. It is rather complicated with the "paperport" application that goes along with it."

"Make sure you don't plug in your scanner till you install the software. Then because of XP, you can't use the buttons. If you scan using another picture program, tell it to use the Visioneer software. It works fine this way."
