"I just installed this on XP for a PB 3030 as a second monitor (which isn't listed on PB's site). Don't worry about the Notepad thing, it is written for W98/95 anyway. Just do the Update Dirver routine: Install from list; Don't search. It should now show on the selection of drivers for this device. Worked a charm for me."

"I tried to install it, and it self-extracts & tries to access notepad through C:\windows\notepad.exe, which is located in win2000pro in start>programs>accessories.

It did not work b/c I could not get the files to extract either w/self extractor or winzip.

"Supposedly it supports every monitor, but I need PB8538 and it only lists PB8528. I am still stuck with windows only occupying 5/6 of the monitor and even though my same graphics card used to give me 1024x768, this monitor has it written on the back, but the driver won't support it. When I downloaded the Tatung driver, it's the same driver."

"I've used this driver for my 1020 monitor with windows 98se, millenium edition, and xp home edition. I've not had any problems with either the install or stability."

"1402s may have been made by Tatung, but their site doesn't support monitor drivers for it. Try Dell 1024i-P/1024i-color. It works for some, but not for others. Didn't work for me. Worth a try. I'm still looking for a new driver. Anyone?"
