"You don't need this driver for 3C509B TP ISA PNP card. Use the standard XP driver but don't forget to give at BIOS level an IRQ to ISA (instead of PCI)"

"I can confirm that the solution suggested by Andres does work! My setup XP Pro, 3Com 3C509 TPO. Cannot comment on the driver as I didn't use it. But the alternative seems much neater anyway."

"Well, I was taught that W2K will work with ISA network cards so I doubt that XP will either but I heard that some did get an ISA network card to work with W2K but that specific features of W2K and networking will not be available"

"sorry for my rating but my 3com nic is a built in device from a dell motherboard and i am using a win 98 os and it did not really worked. my motherboard driver was lost and i cant use my network card."
