"This driver for xp didn't work for me either, i believe an updated version is well overdue or atleast one that works. Could the people who are using foul language not as my son sometimes sits with me at my pc. Thankyou for not a great deal really."

"all of you are fool, stop downloading this driver, cause XP can detected your printer u just plug into your pc and turn the printer on. and then chooose "manually search" on add new h/w..."

"the download works for me. xp couldn't detect the printer, so i manually installed the downloaded driver and selected the HP/DeskJet 400 (Monochrome) drivers. thanks."

"If you have problems with XP and HP dj 400, then the reason might be that the PnP driver chosen by XP is NOT monochrome. Install XP-CD-ROM monochrom & todo esta bien. Coņo P/Dennis!"
