"Installed driver and V.90 upgrade for a CIS WS-5614JS3G modem without problem in a Dell P-II computer running Win2K Pro. Was able to query modem but have not checked performance and stability yet."

"The modem worked for a while and then dropped out. I couldn't even find it in the system properties. It caused general instability in the boot-up and caused my system to hang after a few minutes.

This chipset is used by a few different manufacturers so I should probably try the Wisecom or Rockwell drivers instead.

Don't know why I'm bothering with a crappy old ISA
