"Can't evaluate stability yet. It took me a few minutes to get the driver installed, but I figured it out eventually. System seems to be stable still, but I still need to connect to my network to verify workability.

"Our school purchased 10 HP8555c's that insisted upon booting to safemode no matter what we did. Removing all the HP "stuff" and loading a clean WIN98 solved that problem. Since the HP site did not have this driver, ya'll made the changeover complete. Thanks."

"The drivers worked fine. Also used the NDIS2 drivers for DOS for a bootable floppy to be used to clone an image. HP uses this NIC and should go to greater lengths to make sure its new products have complete drivers on their site. Thank goodness this site did, because theirs didn't as of 9/13/00!"
