"This driver DOES NOT WORK on Windows 2000 or XP. There is a picture on both tuner and video capture, but no sound output; however, using a magnetic probe I was able to detect sound at a few points within the card. I tried using this in conjunction with MS-Movie Maker to transcribe a camcorder video, and it locked up the computer.

"This installed just fine. I rated it poor because there are so many options to choose from, I haven't figured out which one I need yet.. has a good read me file, but it'll take a day to try all the options.. it had sound right off, but the video (tv) part didnt work YET.. I'm still trying.. Its a complicated install, a good GUI with lots of options.

"this is the only driver i found for an old stb capture card. i have not been able to get it working with xp. it's probably not the drivers fault though, i would recommend trying it with an older version of windows or maybe linux if you really know what you're doing (which i don't). Driver Guide is the only place i look for drivers, Thanks."

"Worked fine, also captures video with any application.

Tuner does not work.I understand there is a driver for Win 98 that lets the tuner work.I tried in a computer with W98 SE, but the OS was in spanish, and it did not have WebTV, so, though luck."

"Out of curiosity, I checked the url link the original post. The site had a never version available for download. I'm current using the newer version (5.3.8) after installing this one (btwdmdrvinstaller5.3.5-1.zip). While installing, pay close attention to the Read me file, it tells you exactly what needs to be done. Overall, I am very satistfied with the driver.

"Difficult to accurately rate how well it works on my system as I had Video driver problems along with problems getting a driver that worked with my STB TV tuner card. I couldn't get the card to work correctly until I had an updated video driver, and at that time I has a different STB driver (dvd-win2k-beta2.exe). In any case, this driver had a very nice install uninstall

"UPDATED DRIVER can be downloaded here btwincap.sourceforge.net/ also list other supported cards Also,try downloading Virtual VCR, it is a great FREE substitute for STB's TV PRo which is not compatible with XP, download it here virtualvcr.sourceforge.net/"
