"Thank you very much. I'm reinstalling Win98SE from the scratch after a virus problem. The drivers downloaded from Sony for my VAIO didn't work because they try to detect the type of machine, but this information was erased with the formatting of the hard disk. (I don't have the reinstalling CDs). This driver works very fine. Thanks again."

"I used this driver on a Gateway laptop. The driver installed with no problems or hassles. Next reboot the old laptop had full audio functions from the NeoMagic chip. I recommend this driver..."

"It removed the yellow splat but the playback feature is still not working, thus no sound coming out of speakers yet."
