Ultra 320 HostRAID Drivers v1.01 for NT4, 2000 & XP

This file contains the HostRAID Drivers for the Adaptec SCSI Card 29320-R, 29320LP-R , 39320-R and 39320D-R for Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. These drivers will only work on cards that have the HostRAID bios loaded and enabled (v4.10.1 and above). BE SURE TO LOAD THE DRIVERS PRIOR TO FLASHING ANY CARDS BIOS TO v4.10.0 or above. The same driver is used for both Windows XP and Windows 2000. All retail versions of the Adaptec SCSI Card 29320-R, 29320LP-R, 39320-R and 39320D-R series have this BIOS loaded at the time of manufacture by Adaptec. For HostRAID support you need to enable this feature the BIOS.

  • In Windows 7, click Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager

  • In Windows Vista, click Start -> Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> Device Manager

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
