"Addendum to message below First, I expected my comment to appear at the bottom - so "warnings above" means "warnings below". Download file contains FLASH52B.EXE [AWARD C.1996] and 0196S.BIN. "Having identical Bios String I thought what luck noted above warnings and didn't download decided "eventually" to "at least" download it and "have a look" wanted to enable PS/2 function and maybe other "bonuses" against all "common sense" I consigned my motherboard to the scrap heap and flashed. "I have number 10/18/96-i430VX-031996C-00 Bios also. After I flashed my BIOS I just hit CTRL_ALT_DEL, and my computer worked fine with Win98 no hang ups atall, but only once. When I cycled the power to my computer, it never came back on again. I had to reprogram the Bios Eeprom back to the old bios (oldbios.bin) using my eprom programmer on another computer."

"Did not work for me at all. I had the bios number 10/18/96-i430VX-10031996C-00 I flashed then rebooted and work only once with an error of io base, then I reboot the machine to restore the bios and never came back. any ideas to erase the bios and the restore it?."
