"My XP is so upgraded that most downloads think I'm running Vista, so I'm out of luck with this one. Did not work...."

"Had the problem of install not working when USB cabel was to be installed. It did however work when I removed Service Pack 2, tried this some time ago.

What a hassle, especially annoying now that I slipstreamed XP and hence cannot remove SP2"

"I couldnt agree more with Kent Frederikson. This driver and the driver off the official lexmark site just freeze when you are asked to insert the USB cable. Absolute waste of money and time and as far as lexmark go, i wouldnt p*ss on them if they were on fire. Thank You"

"The install stopped when the USB cabel should be connected, and would not continue. The USB port and cabel is OK, because after the installation was canceled, it was possible printer to send a scan to the computer."
