"It didn't work with Vista. original problem: Lost the icon for the device (CD ROM Drive) (known Vista Glitch) couldn't access it.

Ended uop re-building from scratch. Now have to keep a disc in each CD/DVD ROM drive to ensure Vista recognises them on startup."

"This site appears to be a rip-off to get your personal info to add to some mailing list. I went through the whole "registration" process only to find at the end that I still can't use the site. Additionally I searched for drivers for 2 very popular CD/DVD drives and guessd what...the drivers aren't in their data base even though one or their other submitted com

"This only provides DVD-RAM capability and I already had that. My problem is the other formats of this multi-drive are not recognised: CD +/- R/RW, DVD +/- R/RW and Dual-layer. I'm still looking."

"I am using Windows Longhorn Build 4074 and the driver worked brilliant. I previously tried this driver on Windows 2k Pro. and it just created a new removable disk that I couldnt do anything with!!!"

"Before installing, the drive (F:) was shown as a CDROM. It worked with DVD+R and DVD+RW but only using the supplied Nero Express software.

The install of this driver went through (having complained that the driver wasn't signed), required a reboot, and after that the drive had diasppeared completely - no drive letter.

Disk Manager showed the drive, but with a red X

"This driver made my DVDRAM dissapear from windows 200 prof. On the device manager, on the view menu, i selected "show hidden devices" and then i could see it as not working device. It seems like this installation is missing some drivers and that makes the driver not to work. I uninstalled the hidden device (DVDRAM device), deleted the file oem14.inf from the winn

"Converted my non functional GDA-4120B into a GSA-4120B and now will write all various types of DVD+R's. Previously it would work only with Verbatum at 2.4X."

"I am using an LG, DVD-multi burner, model # GSA-4160b. I attempted to install this driver, on my win 2K system. After install, my DVD-drive disappeared, and was not recognised by my system.

Definately Do Not Recommend this Driver for the GSA-4160b."
