"It's good if you're using games from either Japan or Europe, otherwise it's kind of useless for games that were released in North America. I also couldn't figure out if the ROM1.bin file was actually a bios from North America or not but it wouldn't work with the emulator I was using."

"This was the bios I was looking for for the PCSX2 PS2 emulator. Just make sure to tell the emulator to load the US bios (scph39001) otherwise it will crash (if you are in the US and playing a US ps2 game). Works great!!"
