"after trying all the other bios downloads this one worked updating my bios from a bad flash works on txproII m571 3.2 with amifl634.com after flashing bios made no changes in the bios settings just saveed setting and exited rebooted fine Thanks dennis your a star*"

"I updated a wrong bios so my computer went dead. I fixed myself by writing the bios chip using a PIC16F877 so now is alive again. If somebody wants to try this I can give you the details."

"I have to install a USP card on a PC100 M571, Socket 7 m/board, will this be of any assistance because it requires certain drivers to install the card so that we can connect a USB printer to the machine???"

"In answer to the OTHER Dave NO, this file does NOT work with either version of the M571. It is for the v3.2 board ONLY. Using this flash on the 7.0 board will likely render it DEAD!! Remember--everyone--flash only if you really NEED to If the board already works, the M571 won't get better in any way you'll notice. "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it"."

"This flash rom works...BUT, it must be loaded through another utility, being AMIFL634.com, which is the setup program that allows you to flash this (or other) AMI bios. Load AMIFL634.com first in real DOS, then follow instructions. AMIFL634.com is available at www.PCWAVE.com under Mboard M571 Got it ??"
