"The updating process went well. Unfortunately, even after the update, I still get error messages when writing to CDR/CDRW media. I am using Nero v6.x under WinXP/SP2. Perhaps the drive itself is bad, or maybe it needs a later firmware update."

"This is the same firmware upgrade that is available from the Ricoh Web site. With both downloads I end up with the same problem. Error no Aspi Manager. So now I need an Aspi Manager. Any assistance anyone?"

"i Have a MP9120a-dp drive and the the XP submits de defualt driver to the original one, the thing is that i can do almoste everything, only not to wriyte discs, everything else works(dvd and cd rom) i dont know whats the problem, the drive doesn“t start when i put new virgin Cd“s inside!?? is there a most recent driver that can overwrite the orginal one puted by windows XP

"The "RW" prefix drives being OEM are true. However, I purchased my RW-7080A drive at Costco. It was a white box with a printed cover slipped over it. The outside of the box was labeled "MP-7080A", which was misleading. Be careful when buying hardware from discount places."

"After the installation, I still can't read cds using my cdrw RW7080A. Earlier, I could write fine, but couldn't browse cds or read them at all. I use Nero."

"I am at a loss, have the EasyCd 4.02e and Direct CD 3.01e and simply cannopt get the upgrade for windows XP. Which drivers do I download where? Thanks Herman"
