"It installed OK. It was a pain to get to work, but not the fault of the driver. "Sound Reapeated in a loop" you get that. You mnust make sure all settings are perfect. Under XP it defaulted to I/O address 240, where it should have been 220. In both XP and 98 I had to change the mixer and reboot.

My only fault with the driver itself is that the MIDI instru

"The MPU component did not install correctly. My PC is running Intel Pentium II 333 Mhz and the sound card is a built-in one. However, it works except for the compenent mentioned.

Anyway, it's just a simple problem I may consider.

"YES, this is the genuine article . . . accept no substitute.

I have a Matsonic MS6206s motherboard with a CMI8330 onboard. The new driver available from C-Media will not install properly [25.7k filesize], but this driver works fine."

Then go to Start - Control Pan - Add New Hardware, When the name comes up, choose Display All Names, then choose Have Disk, then click Browes, then find your My Downloaded Files, then your computer should start to download it from your (My Downloaded Files ). "Works fine with XP. I unzipped it to my hard drive. Then from device manager updated the driver for audio driver that was not working. XP took care of the rest. Thanks hunley!"

"I have an old AMD running on a Matsonic MS6260s Mainboard with CMI8330 Audio. I installed XP and had troubles with all the other driver 'hacks'. "These files work better than my old one did. My old drivers only picked up three of my devices but this download picked up all of them. I recommend this file to anyone that has any CMI8330/C3D audio devices. My OS is Win XP."
