"Tried everything. This was the only driver that got the scanner to work on XP!! thought it was destined for the bin. Can only use scanner through an image program i've got but i'm happy with it!"

"'No autorun.inf' file error message is produced if the driver was not installed correctly. The Mustec web site gives the proper sequence for installation."

"Probably good driver - has same files as ones that eventually worked after rebuilding autoexec.nt file. Autoexec.nt needed for Mustek drivers to install correctly (in MS-DOS enviroment) and included mscexnt.exe, redir, and dosx entries in autoexec.nt file used that worked."

"Worked fine for a while (about 2 weeks) then I was prompted to reinstall the drivers. Later I had trouble unzipping the drivers after downloading. Eventually I got it working after reading some of the contributions offered. Thank you Driver guide people, It's been a really helpfull site my machine is an amalgamation of second hand parts And would not have worked without it

"Sorry but this will not work on my computer. It loads okay but then says the scanner is not connected and to check the cables. Still it was worth a try. Thanks anyway, I can't understand why people leave nasty remarks. If it doesn't work try something else. Finally managed to borrow a XP installation disk from a friend so scanner is now working."

"Most of you do not realize these are (Twain)interface drivers the do not I repeat do not work as stand alone drivers they are used in the (accuire)mode of most if not all photo shop software there are no icons on desk top or taskbar.I have used these on my XP machine with no problems. The co. website does leave alot to be desired so get your drivers here and scan away.Also

"yet another dead end. it seemed to install okay, but all i have in the 1200xp folder is a "Web.exe" file and a few grayed files. dble-clicking on web.exe doesn't do anything, neither does lifting scanner lid. what a surpise. any suggestions?"

"Have been trying to hook my mothers scanner back up and can't. This driver is not working at all in XP. I get the message this only works for windows 95,98 and 2000. This does not work with XP!!!!!!"

"I have searched for three months to find a working driver for my 1200 UB. Then i found this great site. Just downloaded this driver for my Scan Magic 1200 UB, and guess what it is working a treat. I unplugged the scanner before installing the driver. Re-connected the scanner and re-booted and voila, working great. I would advise everyone to give this one a go. Thanks a lot

"installed software OK but windows wanted .inf file for driver installation which is not included in this download. Couldn't find any other way round it either. Mustek call this a 'compatible xp' driver. Mayeb that's why!"
