"This driver works for the eOne 500. I used it to fix my friend's computer. She is running windows XP. I highly recommend it. Download zip, extract zip, disconnect Lan, uninstall network card, use device finding utility to re-find card, direct utitily to folder with v230.03 drivers in it. Do not plug ethernet cable in yet. Go to device manager, go to network card properties

. Find option in properties to change speed. Change speed to automatic sensing. *Note if automatic sensing is not available. Go to update driver, select "I will choose from a list.." choose last driver in list. Then go back and change speed settings. Sorry that these directions aren't too clear, but trust me this drivers WILL work on the eOne 500.. ~Lou~"

"This driver works fine with Windows XP Pro with SP2 installed. It does not have the common problem of showing a "network cable disconnected" error even when the network is connected and functioning fine.

stalling). Then go to the hardware device manager (right click on "My Computer", select properties, hardware tab, press the "Device Manager" button). Look for network adapters, right click on the only one there (unless you have a PCMCIA card installed) select "update driver". Select the options to pick your own driver until you can click on a button that says "have disk". Then click "browse" and select the directory you unzipped the file to.

That should be it."

"this isn't working on the eOne 433 xp upgrade for me. The driver installs, but it says that the network is disconnected, no matter how I fiddle with the settings. Argh!"

Get 2145 Phone lan drivers. Be sure you down loaded onto hard drive, then unzipped again onto hard drive,then upgrade driver to the 2145. t to automatic sensing. It is auto default to 56k and if you want the lan ethernet to work, thats too slow. Remember this card only operates at 1 mps, most systems on cable use faster connections,but if you set it to auto sensing it works great on cable network broadband. Good Luck and Thanks again!"

It worked great, to install I went to device driver went to ethernet controller that was listed under ? and clicked on it then clicked on install driver. the wizard appeared and i told it that i would pick a place to find driver and it then installed it for me.
