"I tried the driver in compatibility XP mode and all other back windows OS but driver is not properly working shows yellow mark in device manager and error code 10. When I start program, the message is device not connected. ALSO INF file is missing for proper installation."

"It works well. However, I installed the driver because WinXP Pro didn't recognize the camera as an "imaging device." After I installed the driver WinXP Pro still didn't recognize the camera as an "imaging device", so the utility of this driver update for this rather old camera is still pretty limited."

"I had a friend come to my house with this webcam and we had lost the CD-ROM a long time ago, If it wasnt for this website We woulda been so hopeless. This site gets a big 5 star rating of excellence from me and my friends.

"i'm not sure of the exact model for the web cam that i have but this one worked for me. It is originally made by some other company called urilink? and not ibm... anyway this one gives you the software with the driver and works great.

of course the ibm pc camera isn't great to begin with, but for the money, it delivers."

"If you have an older IBM PC Camera and want to use it on your Windows XP platform download this driver. It wil also allow you to use that old plastic dust collector as a web cam!"

"Unplugged cam and installed new driver and then plugged cam in and still didn't work. So, I rebooted again, and reinstalled original driver software from original CD again which somehow got the correct calls from the new driver patch, and it's apparently working fine now. Am using a Sony Vaio desktop (which is notorious for having lots of undocumented hardware and system

"I had to remove all the old software first, then install the new software. After that I had to unplug the camera and replug it back in. Then in device manager I had to 'install automatically'. Then it worked fine. BTW This driver has not passed windows logo testing. It will give a warning about it at the install. Click on 'continue anyway'. I will have to adjust the ligh
