"It was unclear. There was a listing for 36k modems I wanted the 56k deskporte Portable and once I downloaded it was not the case"

"Cool! This driver worked with the rebaged Banksia Deskporte 28.8s. But the firmware upgrade didn't. I pity the poor Mac users though, they seam to be looking everywhere."
