"This is the best driver I've been able to find for a Soundblaster 16PCI under Win2000. It works, more or less, but some of the advanced features of the soundcard aren't accessable, notably the tone controls and the MIDI waveset options. (These all work when I install the original driver for this card under Win9X.)

claims to be for Win9X as well so I tried it out but found the same shortcomings. I suggest that it was written for a slightly different sound card.

If you're trying to make an SB16PCI work with Win2000 then I suggest you use this driver because I don't think you'll find anything better."
