"searching for p2000 driver for winXP. thought this would work. downloaded it, double clicked it, NOTHING HAPPENED!!!

what printer is it for anyway? it just says NEC, is it for every NEC printer? apparently NOT!

someone please email me if they found a good one, using the supplied p2200 driver is giving me some problems."

"The NEC is not compatable with WIN XP at all- There was no patch

or driver that I could find to make it function properly. And every

time I got it working within two days it would come back with

spooling errors. Only advise - get a HP based printer!"

"Same as everyone else - downloaded the exe file, then ...NOTHING. This is pretty bad!

How can NEC get away with this?"

"IT WON'T WORK! Straight from the horses mouth--NEC When Microsoft released Windows 2000, they discontinued the support for GDI ports, which this printer requires to print, It's not a driver issue. For this reason you will NOT be able to use this printer under Windows 2000 or Windows XP. You would have to dedicate this printer to computers running Windows 3.1 through Win

"Executable doesn't work. Double click on it and nothing seems to happen. The hours glass pops up for a moment then disappears. Any help would be great. Thanks"
