"would not install becuse it did not detect older virsion of driver installed so there for you are screwed. this driver is not user friendly."

"It works but like Jetson said, you have to go into Windows/system32/ and rename the kbcam to "KBCAM" in all caps before it worked."

"Thankyou very much.

It worked on Win XP, but only after I renamed the kbcam inf file to KBCAM (capital letters) in the system32 drivers folder."

"Thanks Michele, this worked for me too. Although, i did have to reboot, unplug the camera and re-plug it in before my computer recognized it. but all is well now. [IMG]instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/otn/blobs/bounce.gif[/IMG]"

"I cut and pasted these instructions from that real smart guy up above and followeer them to a T and I an now so thrilles that my camera is now working again in the XP operating system well here they are again and my thanks to the author. I GOT IT TO WORK I used these two files with these directions I found off the internet Posted by K Mack on July 22, 2002 at 23 34 22

"I have tried n tried but could not get my jamcam 3.0 to work from windows 98 to windows xp but i found out my problem to get it to work u have to have a twain file. it works great now. phil"

"After carefully following the directions posted by Michelle I am getting a message that says" There was a problem installing this hardware. The driver installation for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows 95 or later." I am running XP and I don't understand the message.
