"searched and this is the only one that seems to work device is detected the one from gateway wouldnt load this one looks just like it; see the read me file and lists mx 6000 series seems to work like it did before the crash and reinstall; why cant gateway post the driver that works? maybe cause after they get your money they dont care???? just sayin......"

"Worked great on my aunt's old gateway laptop. The driver I downloaded from the gateway support website didn't work at all, so this driver really came through. I was just about to give up any hope of ever getting the sound to work on that computer!"
