"I've been re-trying both versions for a year now. The original "WMP11_dr" driver works great. The latter driver, "WMP11_V4_dr," continuously drops any wireless signal. You must setup BOTH your XP-wireless lan connection, and the Linksys Wireless Config Utility; with the same security parameters to gain an active connection to the internet. Your wireles

"Installed this driver on two different machines (Dell Dimension 2400 & 4600) running Win 98. It did support the WMP11 card okay. However I use these machines to run MS Combat Flight Simulator II with a Riptide 90079 combo audio/joystick/modem card and in both machines the installation of the WMP11 causes BSOD 0E in Riptide.vxd.

With the WMP11 removed CFS runs
