I tried for weeks to install my scanner till it finally works with this driver using Lasersoft Silverfast V.6 or also Vuescan. I hope this can be very helpful for any other trying to use Saaphir Ultra 2 with XP. I don´t know if it also works with other Linotype **** models or operating systems. It should be becouse matching device ID: genscanner (generic scanner)
