"I have the old IBM pc web cam with the green dot light on top and the long oval push button on top, the focus on the lens. They use to have you go to cameratech.com to get the upgrade for xp for this cam, I knew i could count on driverguide.com to have the needed installation.

"At times, the camera just stops working.

I don't know if the problem lies in the driver or it's a WinXP problem.

So, I recommend that people try to use this driver, once I'm not sure if the problems I've faced have something to do with the driver or not."

"Finally got this driver to work. Not only do you get the driver, you also get the application. This works GREAT on Windows XP. I had problems down loading at first, but was well worth the wait and time.

"Good driver with a small interface program to use the camera, works good. Camera also works with other programs such as Movie Maker etc. with this driver. Does not show up in My Computer though for some reason."

"This is the 5th driver I have found on the net that doesn't work. The zip files are damaged, the files won't install and I'm having to open task manager and exit out of setup.exe in order to be able to deleta the files.

"This is the right driver for them little old web cam's that say IBM in light blue on the top right hand side with a green light above it and a long oval button running down the middle. It's great for XP."

"The good part: It really works!

The bad part: It assumes your system is on drive C:. If you use a different drive, for example due to SATA drive (e.g. drive F:), you have to unzip the executable then run the setup.exe file that it contains.

"This did work on XP. The camera was the model was KSX-X9907. Good for taking still pictures only as it is one of the first few web-cam's on the market. The program is also pretty basic to run.

Dug out this old outdated POS camera from a yard sale and BAM 5 minutes later.. im looking at myself.

Have tested this driver under many conditions. Havent found a single failing yet. Those include:

Win 2000 updated (only tested on most recent updates)

Win ME - Old version on cheap computer.

Win XP Pro/Home S
