"I suggest that if the network card is already in the computer, then use the folder for that particular system, i.e. Win2000, and reinstall the drivers that were included on the setup disk from "System/Hardware/Device Manager/Network card." That worked for me. I would not suggest changing the name of files in the operating system, "System 32/Winnt", th

"XP picked up the card as Linksys NC100 Fast Ethernet Adapter loaded the driver and tried to acqire an address unsuccessfully, tried this driver as well and the one form the Linksys site. The card has been in a box for a while and could be the problem. It's trash!"

"The driver worked well with Windows 2000 Professional with SP4. Installation went well with no problems. Immediately after loading the driver & rebooting, the NIC started working.

Has worked flawlessly since.

"MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE "README.EXE" EXACTLY! And even at that they are not very clear. It does work, however."

"This driver loaded on Vista and the computer seemed to be able to accept it. However, I have never been able to get my HP 1730 with Vista to be able to connect with my home network. This did not fix my home network problem. But I suspect that the driver is OK on Vista. Diagnostics indicated that the driver and network card are OK."

"The card would not see my Belkin F5D7230-4 router, but it worked find with my Motorola SB5120 cable modem. This was also true with an alternate driver, so it may have just been a hardware issue."

"Download software and unzip to C:// as automatically for you, go to your NetCard and update. Looking for the exact Operating System and install and follow instructions in prompt.

Easy and straight forward ME OS caught it find after a restart was good to go!

"This driver downloaded very nicely. The driver also exhibited rather unique characteristics, to wit a well planned vacation to the bahamas. The driver obeyed all the local ordinances yet failed on one occasion to come to a complete stop. I feel this driver got along well with his felloww drivers. "Bad installation "routine" under Windows 2000. The instructions tell you to go into \Winnt\System32\Drivers and \Winnt\Inf and rename existing files, install the NIC, then power up the computer and point Windows to the directory containing the Win2K drivers.
