"For some reason, after i installed the driver only one speaker works. I know that it is not my sound card or speakers as I had just taken them from another pc in which they worked fine. I checked the system volume and balance of the speakers to confirm that it was set up correctly. I am going to try another compatible driver to see if that fixes the problem, As I can only

"I have a fortmedia FM801-AS (CZERNY 2000) card and i tried these drivers in win2k and they worked. With my previous driver version only two speakers were working but with these all four speakers worked fine."
