"It didn't solve my slow starting of Windows XP (WIA issue with XP, SP2 doesn't fix it either), but it didn't kill my scanner either. I've just unplugged the scanner until I need it."

"Same thing, FATAL ERROR half way through the install. Stay away from this one. Probably contains a worm or virus!"
