"hve downloaded this driver before for a Compaq 6745 presario, but I seem to have misplaced it. Highly recommend this driver for MPX chip w/EN5038A type."

"The installation was a little confusing because I had to go into BIOS (setup) and change the PCI slot that the NIC was in to be a "buss master." Then I had to select the NIC from a list, and then navigate to the "Setup" folder on this installation file. Once I did that, it loaded fine and works great! Yahoo!"

"This driver states it's for NIC 1207D. It may work for an intergrated card, but it sure doesn't work for an 1207D add on card. If you have 1207D card you are installing, don't waste your time trying this driver."
