"This driver works fine if you want only digital sources, however the synth data contained has an error that consumes all available resources making game MIDI music fail."

"We had two sound cards. An early Yamaha branded XG724 and a XWave card. The cards were in indential Tyan Tiger 230 System Boards that didn't have the audio included on the board. The earlier Yamaha branded board worked with this file. The Xwave board didn't and it crashed the computer. I had to fo into Win2K safe mode and disable the driver to get the box to boot normally.
