"I too had the cd software for the JamCam 3.0 MN KGJC3S, but lost it during a move. Without the original installation software the above mentioned download won't work using Windows 2K Professional Ed."

"After I switched to Win XP, I ran into a problem reloading with the CD (for Win ME) that came with the camera. Found Michelle's post and followed her comments to load new software for XP. Everything worked just like she said it would! Camera now capable of downloading pictures just like with Win ME. Many thanks for the clear instructions. FYI, jamonline.com appears to

"Michelles instructions from feb 1, worked allright thank you so much michelle, michelles instructions solve the problem of installing the drivers plus the drivers updates for the windows xp enviroment, follow her instructions an your jamcam will be working again."

"Neither of these work kbcam.sys v. 1.1.0.1 10/6/2000 kbcam.sys v. 1.0.0.1 9/18/2000 I also have a JamCam Update 3.0 v. GM6. That crashes, too."

"Michelle's directions did allow me to use USB, but the link to Dave Nolen's ver. D driver is bad, so I crash when downloading low-res pics. Will anyone send it to me? jamcam3.exe appears to be the same as the jamCamApp.exe that came on the CD for my JamCam silver. I have the KBGear tablet S/W called jamstudio.zip. Email if you want it & I will send."

"Downloaded and installed the two files from compgeeks.com Had to go back and do step 11 - 21 from Michelle and got it to work. 11. Connect your camera to a USB port and turn it on. 12. Right click on My Computer and select Properties. 13. Go to the Hardware tab and select Device Manager. 14. You should see JamCam listed there. 15. Double-click on JamCam in the device list.

"I need the complete software for this cam, plus any XP patches that may be necessary. This driver will not help, until I have the complete software. I got the cam as a gift, and never used it, because I already had a Logitech cam. My dad didn't know that. I lost the CD the last time I moved, and now this cam is brand new, and useless. kbgear.com and jamonline.com no longer

"For all those out there who need a fix to the driver problem for the JamCam for WinXP, the instructions given from Michelle dated Feb 1, 2003, really do work. I just did what the instructions said and low and behold it worked! First time around too! Yeah! Now I have my Ferret Pic's I thought I'd lost! Yehawwwww."

"I have the CD that came with the camera but when I first installed this about 1 year ago I had to go to the jamonline web site to get a patch. My system crashed recently and now I'm rebuilding the system I note that the jamonline website has dissapeared. "I've installed WIndows XP home edition and now several of my "toys" won't work. One is the jam cam which I downloaded this driver and installed it but when I connect the camera to the usb port and click get pictures it does not do anything....what else can I do?"
