"My external hd box coudn't work with windows XP built in drivers. Windows XP had detect the drive as an USB Atapi Connector but couldn't find any suitable driver for it.

My Box is a no-brand USB-HD44P 2½ external box which come with a Shuttle Technology USBAT-02 chip inside.

This SCM USBAT ATA/ATAPI Adapter driver works fine and I can use my 2½ HD now"
