"Device was a Tiny FU621D USB Scanner with NO buttons (ie. Scan, email etc). XP hardware detects as a native 'Colorado 19200 USB' device ie. It is badged product by Tiny. Tiny Computers went regrettably bust a few years ago to my recollection.

1. Unpacked files into a clean folder

2. I could not see a exe installation file, just inf file. No problem.

3. Plugged in

"Could not install. Windows squawked the vis4400.cab file when trying to install from .inf - said "cat file does not contain correct hash code. File is either corrupt or has been tampered with.

Date of most files in self-extracting archive is 12/27/2001, but vis4400.inf is 5/10/2002, which is later than other files, and the vis4400.cat file is 10/25/2001. Looks l

How to Update USB Flatbed Scanner Device Drivers Quickly & Easily
