"I loaded 98 onto this E-machine 633id and the only thing I had problems with is the onboard sound. I tried using a different card and couldn't figure out how to disable the onboard, it didn't do it automaticaly. Finally figured out it had a Trigem Cognac motherboard, and this driver worked like a charm. Extracted, and ran setup. Couldn't be easier."

"Thank You!!! It brought sound back to my HP Pavilion xe793 (using xp pro), I was going crazy after i deleted the drivers by mistake then had no idea what make/model they were, then found out that there is something called an "audio chipset" (duh) and that was the missing puzzle piece."
