"Not really a driver issue. More of a Windows/VIA issue. I tried to use this with a VIA chipset and windows would not load its WDM drivers. (mpu401) Got the driver I needed from VIA (OLD) and installed it OK. Can't comment on this driver with other chipsets."

"Does work, tried installing it first time - no luck.....

Extracted it to a folder, went to add new hardware and let windows find it, it asks for the disk, press ok and then point the file required using the browse function.

I got sound :)
