Additional Notes

This driver was killing me. I could not find it anyware. My XP system couldn't recognize my HDD to the point that I had to go and get a new one, to get to the same point. No recognition from XP. Until I get this one from the siig website.

It should work with a board with the model # SC-PE4B12 on a white sticker.

This particular one works with the APT865 Chipset. Mine was covered by a SIIG sticker that blocked the chipset number. When downloaded just unzip it to a place in your hard drive. In my case, I copied winxp folder to a floppy, and when installing xp hit F6 and waited until they asked my for the diskette.

Then select SIIG CN2487 UDMA133 IDE WinXP Miniport Driver and hit enter.

Make sure you copy the WinXp folder, not just the files in it.

The driver includes other OS drive
