This is the only driver I have found so far that Works with STB TV Tuner cards and windows XP. (These cards were sent OEM with older Pac Bell and Gateway systems) STB was bought out by 3dfx systems wich no longer offers support or driver updates for these cards. This is a generic driver and not signed. After install you must use a third party TV tuner application as STB TV PRo will not work with XP. The card WILL work with Windows Movie Maker for video capture source.

"This driver DOES NOT WORK on Windows 2000 or XP. There is a picture on both tuner and video capture, but no sound output; however, using a magnetic probe I was able to detect sound at a few points within the card. I tried using this in conjunction with MS-Movie Maker to transcribe a camcorder video, and it locked up the computer.

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
